Baking Soda - Organic Tea Healing

Baking soda is a product with amazing properties. Whether it’s used in the food industry or in everyday life, baking soda is one of the best products you can have at home. It can be used in the pharmaceutical, medical, cleaning and breeding industries.

Why use Bicarbonate?

Its use is justified because bicarbonate :

Is not harmful to health (it doesn’t cause allergies, is edible and non-toxic) is biodegradable does not contain preservatives is economical

There are 4 Types of Baking Soda, Depending on their Purity:

Edible baking soda, the kind you’ll find in the supermarket. It’s inexpensive and has many uses. It can be consumed and used without any contraindications.

Baking soda is reserved exclusively for breeding. Its basic properties restore the pH of animals that consume too much protein.

Technical bicarbonate is more abrasive than food grade, which limits its use to household chores. It is advisable to wear gloves when handling it to avoid skin irritation.

Pharmaceutical grade baking soda is the purest and most expensive. In addition, its use is strictly medical. It can be found in pharmacies.

Whites teeth and freshens breath

Baking soda’s gentle abrasive properties polish and smooth tooth enamel. It removes stains and leaves teeth whiter. Simply sprinkle baking soda on your toothbrush before brushing. However, it should not be used daily because it can damage tooth enamel. Instead, use it once a week.

It Disinfects

It also eliminates bacteria from the mouth, which helps prevent cavities. Gargling with bicarbonate of soda can be part of your daily routine and is not dangerous to your health. On the contrary, it disinfects the oral cavity.

Soothes Mouth Ulcers and Sore Gums

Sodium bicarbonate is also effective for soothing mouth ulcers and sore gums. It relieves pain and speeds healing. It can be applied directly to the ulcer. To do this, put some bicarbonate of soda on your finger before applying it to the ulcer. A mouthwash is also recommended (dilute 1 tablespoon of powder in ½ cup of cold water).

It’s a Good Dry Shampoo.

The powder applied to the scalp absorbs excess sebum. After application, simply leave on for a few minutes and brush your hair. The result is cleaner, softer hair. Be careful not to use this method more than once a week, however, as the abrasive properties of sodium bicarbonate can damage hair if used too often.

Turn Bath Time Into a Moment of Relaxation

Diluting half a glass of baking soda in your bath water has a relaxing effect. Its alkaline properties also make it a good skin moisturizer.

Baking Soda is a Safe Deodorant.

Baking soda is safe to use because it is hypoallergenic. It neutralizes the bacteria responsible for underarm odor. For best results, sprinkle a little powder under the armpits when the skin is slightly damp.

Eliminates Unpleasant Odors

As with underarms, baking soda is effective against foot odor. It can be used in the bath, directly on the skin, or sprinkled inside shoes!

Effective Against Athlete’s Foot

Baking soda is excellent for treating athlete’s foot and fungal infections. Simply dilute 4 tablespoons of powder in 1 liter of lukewarm water and soak your feet for 15 minutes. Sodium bicarbonate can also be sprinkled on fungal skin just before putting on socks or stockings. It will absorb moisture throughout the day.

Relieves Heartburn

We recommend diluting one teaspoon of powder in a glass of water and drinking slowly. A few drops of lemon juice or honey can be added for a more pleasant taste.

Safe Cleaning

Baking soda can be used to deodorize carpets or the refrigerator, as a fabric softener for laundry, as a cleaner for scrubbing the bathtub or oven, or as a fungicide for the garden! What’s more, in large quantities, baking soda can regulate the pH of your swimming pool. Its many uses make it the ideal product to have around the house at all times!

* Tip to Check if the Product has Expired:

Put a tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water and add a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice: if it fizzes, the product is still valid.
